Training continued for both youth and adult cohorts this Sunday in Garryowen RFC, the venue which will soon be the home of the club's new outdoor facility which will include a bay of nets as well as an astro-turf training area. With the season fixture list expected to be released this week, the honeymoon period for training is now coming to an end as the club looks to up the intensity in the run-in towards the opening weekend at the start of June. Limerick Cricket Club won 5 out of a possible 8 trophies last year in their MCU competitions and know that they must hit the ground running in order to achieve similar success this time around.
Training will continue in Garryowen RFC on Wednesday evening for the adults while the youths will continue their Sunday routine next weekend.
